High-Yield Strategy to Clear Lower PCS Cutoff
- Prioritize Hindi & Reasoning Accuracy: These two sections account for 100 marks out of 300 in Prelims. Because the questions are rule-based, well-prepared candidates routinely score 45+/50 in Hindi and 42+/50 in Reasoning, giving them an enormous cushion for General Knowledge.
- Revise UP Specific Facts Methodically: Don’t read random GK trivia. Study the official UP government statistical handbook for crop production rankings, thermal power plants, river canal networks (Sharda, Ken-Betwa link), and bird sanctuaries.
- Practice Timed Objective Sets: With 150 questions in just 120 minutes, you have less than 48 seconds per question. Attempting regular timed mock tests on FundaPrep ensures you never leave easy Hindi or Reasoning questions unattempted at the end of the paper.
